OUT OF THE BLUE - CLOVELLY

A go to eat out spot, with quite potentially the best chicken schnitzel burgers in the Eastern suburbs, Out of the Blue is quite frankly OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Take away burgers was a staple protocol here wayyyy before isolation was a thing, mainly because there is limited seating inside. In saying that why on earth would you sit inside when beautiful Clovelly beach is a stone throws away? (provided you’re good at throwing stones.. I’m not! so I throw a text to my bf instead, to drive me down).

This is a total hotspot and unfortunately the secrets out- wait times can be long so best make sure you’re in comfy gear. Our go to outfits for this spot are:

Big Daddy’s Burger Bar

I know what you’re thinking…VIBES VIBES VIBES !! We agree and thats why we’ve even shot a campaign there ourselves! The absolute dream American Diner aesthetic will have you wanting to dress BOLD for a killer instagram pic !

There are a few of these chains around town but our favourite is the Newtown bar on King Street!

Our outfit picks for a place like this are graphic tee’s like the Wrangler Tour Tee + Lee Baggy Crop Tee - Ruby matches with denim Lee High Straight Jean - Corrupt. For a bit of extra flare if you’re choosing to come here for dinner, we’d throw in one of our new Jaggar mules Bow Stripe Heel - Red.

BETTY’S BURGERS

If the burgers don’t entice you from these pics then the store fit out WILL! The cutest of cute. Betty’s Burgers is one of our faves here at the PM office and yes before you start @ me THEY DO GLUTEN FREE BUNS. Need I say more ladies, you’re gut intolerances will thank me later.

There are a few of these gems scattered around Sydney and they’re all pretty lush! 5 star store interiors on a $5 budget?! Okay maybe the burgers are a bit more than $5 but ladies need I remind you.. GLUTEN FREE BUNS.

Okay its 11am on a Sunday, you’re instagram is blowing up from the rogue filming you did last night. But its okay.. you didn’t go home with Gary from Finance. You roll over only to see your best friend next to you, her fake eyelashes are on your pillow. She opens her eyes and lets out a whisper “Little L’s?” you nod and within the next 10 you’re in the car on your way to get a BIG L buger with prego sauce.

Raise your hands if you were personally victimised by the above statement? I know I was. We’ve all been there and to be honest I’m not mad about it. The burgers are delicious and if it means you and bestie can throw on some comfy knits, your card in a clutch and hit the road then WHY NOT!

I can’t remember the expression about “eating with your eyes..” but looking at these DELISH photos just made me put on 10kgs. How amazing do they look? and no I’m not just talking about the new Wrangler Lita Jean - Blue Star or the Champion Reverse Weave Crew - Gold, which on a totally unrelated note, would go AMAZINGLY with the Milky Lane restaurants.

You’re in luck. There quite a few chains in Sydney! Each have a unique graffiti wall which provides the perfect background for the stories you WILL be uploading whilst devouring a burger and fries.

Our go to meals is the Kevin Bacon w/ loaded fries. But don’t stop there. Milky Lane have experimented with the most outrageous milkshakes, cocktails and deep fried edibles.
